Hickory helped us with a difficult-to-find purchase. We were searching for a property for our cottage industry business. She helped us work through the zoning issues and the choices of urban vs rural, build-to-suit vs buy and renovate. In the end, we found a property that, a year later, is still pretty perfect for us.

When my husband and I decided to buy a house before moving to the area, we knew things might be complicated (and that was before the pandemic hit, in the middle of our search). Hickory made the complicated easy, helping us find good candidate houses to tour in person (when we traveled from out of state) and on video (when we couldn't make the trip). On at least two occasions, she went back to a house we had already toured to check on something we weren't sure about (once, it was the level of road noise). When we found the right house, she helped to negotiate a price we were happy with, even with a competing offer from other buyers. Throughout it all, Hickory listened carefully to our wishes and concerns and offered her good sense and excellent advice. She knows the area very well and was always a joy to work with.

I can’t imagine going through the selling process without Hickory Lee. She cares so much, it’s like having your best friend list your home. I found myself disabled, immunocompromised, and in need of selling my much-loved home during a worldwide pandemic. We had an excellent experience buying our home with Hickory! As first time homebuyers, she gave us great education and walked us through every step of the process. We were also new to the area and she helped us explore and feel acclimated to many neighborhood options. She listened to our needs and also encouraged us to be open minded, worked hard to show us homes that she thought could be a great fit for us, and always had our best interest in mind. We purchased a home during the crazy inflated Covid market and had to participate in bidding wars and compete with many cash offers. Hickory showed us around 80 homes and wrote 10 offers over the course of a year before we finally secured a home we liked in our price range. Hickory was great help in our house search. She was very quick in locating new listings, which was essential in a tight market. She managed to get us to see these properties quickly. And when some came on the market while we were abroad, she helped us to view them remotely. We ended up buying our house while abroad, and Hickory did the whole visit and informed us honestly of all details of the property. We are extremely happy with the house and grounds.
